I’m so excited to work with your extended family and capture the special bond you share! This package includes up to a 60-minute session with me, Lindsay Coulter. Depending on the number of family members, additional time may be required to make sure we get all the perfect shots. This package is designed for families of 6 or more—whether that includes grandparents, adult siblings, or extended relatives, I’ll make sure to photograph everyone in a way that feels natural and connected. You can choose from an on-location shoot, a studio session, or even the comfort of your own home.(Travel fees will apply for locations outside of the Waterloo Region.) You’ll receive a minimum of 75 high-resolution digital images, all available through an online gallery for easy downloading and ordering of prints. To make the session smooth and enjoyable, I’ll also provide location and outfit consulting to help everyone look their best. And with the print release, you’ll have full freedom to print your images wherever you’d like, with no watermark. I can’t wait to help you preserve these special moments with your loved ones!

Last Spring, I had the absolute pleasure of spending an evening with the Shae family at their villa in Florence, Italy. Angela is an entrepreneur, and the genius behind&nbsp;<a href="https://socialtemplates.co/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Social Templates</a>&nbsp;- an Instagram Reels resource specifically for photographers. When I heard Angela&rsquo;s entire family was going to be coming to Florence I was so excited. Angela and I had become friends at a conference in Vegas earlier in the year, and I couldn&rsquo;t wait to meet the boys she had told me so much about. Documenting her family while on their vacation in Florence, in the villa they were calling home for the week was such a joy. Getting to see Angela in action as a mama, seeing her and her husband Vlad as the most loving couple, and capturing the sweet personalities of each of their sons was truly a highlight of my trip. Family Photos in Florence, Italy - The Shaes

There&rsquo;s something incredibly special about photographing a family year after year. Watching them grow, change, and create new memories together is one of the best parts of my job. The Potvin family is no exception. I&rsquo;ve been lucky enough to photograph Steph and Corey since their engagement session &amp; wedding over ten years ago, and every session since has been a joy. This year, we met near their new home at Sauble Beach for their family session, and it was the perfect setting for a laid-back, fun-filled evening. Sauble Beach is one of my favorite places for family photos&mdash;the open shoreline, the soft dunes, and the way the light hits the water at sunset make for absolute magic. From the moment we started, the Potvins were completely in their element. The kids ran barefoot through the sand, collecting little treasures along the shore and giggling as the waves chased their toes. Steph and Corey shared quiet moments, watching their little ones play, and soaking in the beauty of it all. There&rsquo;s something about beach sessions that makes everything feel so effortless&mdash;no stiff poses, just real, candid moments of connection. As the sun dipped lower, we captured some of my favourite images of the evening. The golden light reflected off the water, creating a dreamy glow around the family. The kids wrapped up in cozy blankets, the last bit of energy spent from running in and out of the waves. It was the perfect way to end our session&mdash;happy, sandy, and full of love. Steph and Corey, thank you for trusting me to document your family&rsquo;s story year after year. Watching your family grow has been such an honor, and I can&rsquo;t wait to see what&rsquo;s next for you all. "My name is Lindsay. I’m a photographer based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. I have a bright, light-filled studio in Uptown Waterloo and I love photographing families.

 

Becoming a photographer for me was not like many other photographer’s stories. I was not born with a camera in my hand. In fact, the photos I took when I was younger are pretty awful. I was, however, born with an insatiable desire to learn about humans and to help them see themselves in the same light that the people who love them most see them in.

 

I think it’s this desire that makes my work different.

 

Of course, the technical skill and ability to create an image came with a lot of dedicated effort.. but my work has always been rooted in my love for observing humans and helping to capture their essence."
