There’s something incredibly special about photographing a family year after year. Watching them grow, change, and create new memories together is one of the best parts of my job. The Potvin family is no exception. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph Steph and Corey since their engagement session & wedding over ten years ago, and every session since has been a joy.

This year, we met near their new home at Sauble Beach for their family session, and it was the perfect setting for a laid-back, fun-filled evening. Sauble Beach is one of my favorite places for family photos—the open shoreline, the soft dunes, and the way the light hits the water at sunset make for absolute magic.

From the moment we started, the Potvins were completely in their element. The kids ran barefoot through the sand, collecting little treasures along the shore and giggling as the waves chased their toes. Steph and Corey shared quiet moments, watching their little ones play, and soaking in the beauty of it all. There’s something about beach sessions that makes everything feel so effortless—no stiff poses, just real, candid moments of connection.

As the sun dipped lower, we captured some of my favourite images of the evening. The golden light reflected off the water, creating a dreamy glow around the family. The kids wrapped up in cozy blankets, the last bit of energy spent from running in and out of the waves. It was the perfect way to end our session—happy, sandy, and full of love.

Steph and Corey, thank you for trusting me to document your family’s story year after year. Watching your family grow has been such an honor, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for you all.
